And god help us if any of them should win. Really, some of their "Ideas" Scare the hell out of me. It was really sick!

I watched part of it at the Atlanta airport last night and was not the least bit surprised at all the usual political double speak. It amazes me how many words they can use to say absolutely nothing. Getting them to give a straight answer is like trying to catch a greased pig with your hands covered in motor oil while blindfolded.
Of course the Republicans are no better. Today you can hardly tell the difference between The Dems and Repubs today. Neither of the big two hold the answers to today's problems. Honestly it is the fault of these two that we are where we are today. We should work to get a third party and even fourth into the game to strip these two bloated power brokering parties of their influence.

I seen a little on the news and wow, If Ron Paul loses, we lose.
Buy silver, because when the liberals are in the dollar will fall fast and the silver and gold will rise.
Just look at the Ron Paul silver dollars from Liberty Mint being raided on the 14th. of this month. Go on Ebay and type in Ron Paul silver coins and look at the price of what those coins are now going for. On the 13th. of Nov. they were only going for $25. and now the avg. is $200.
GO RON PAUL GO.

Which makes one wonder. If gold and silver are truly stable and it is the paper dollar that fluctuates why is gold and silver skyrocketing several hundred percent but a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread is not? Also, if it is gold and silver that have real value and not paper money, what is the value of gold and silver? How many loaves of bread can I buy with an ounce of gold and why? If the value of gold and silver are truly stable how many ounces of silver are worth one ounce of gold and why? Those who advocate a return to the gold standard never answer these questions. I think the federal dollar is very weak and backed by own debt.
Corn - Do you not want to see our money return to the silver/gold standard?
Don't forget about the Ron Paul coins. The only reason right know they are jumping in value is because the company that made them were raided on the 14th. of Nov.

Corn - Do you not want to see our money return to the silver/gold standard? Whether I want to see it or not is of no consequence. The fact is that it is impossible to mint enough gold coins to take care of the monetary needs of the citizens of Florida let alone the entire US or even just the South. There's not enough gold in the entire Western hemisphere to to do it. Even if there was, how would be get our hands on it? Back in the days of the 13 colonies it might have been possible to mint enough gold and silver to take care of the relatively small population but not today. Besides, if you put a nations gold into the hands of the civilian population it opens the door to losing all the gold to a foreign country. It will all just trickle out of the country into someone else's bank. Cornfedreb

the dollar wont fall becous it would be a break down of power an this country wont let that happen no matter who is president The Canadian dollar just recently grew more valuable than the US dollar and now Israel and Egypt, the two largest reciepients of US foreign aid, want to be paid their US aid in EUROS instead of dollars. The dollar is falling. The Empire is crumbling. Lock and load. Cornfedreb

....If Ron Paul loses, we lose. Ron Paul will never see the inside of the White House unless he is invited by someone else. Sad but true. He's another Ross Perot. He makes the sheep feel like there is still a chance and when he loses we're all supposed to say, "Well, we had a chance but we blew it. We'll just have to fight harder in 4 more years". Trouble is, we've been voting in a rigged system since 1865 and, wonder of wonders, we can never seem to get back to a Constitutional republic of sovereign republics. I wonder why that is? If the impossible ever did happen and Ron Paul did manage to get into the White House we'd all lose. The reason is the sheep would all go back to sleep. Southern nationalism would collapse as everyone started pulling out their stripped federal rags and waving them as though anyone in power would let Ron Paul change anything. The system is broken. It won't be changed by voting. Secession from Washington, DC is the only answer. It's the only answer I'm fighting for. The rest of the Empire can rot. Cornfedreb

I disagree Corn, but we do have our opinions and I respect that. Talking about Ron Paul not getting into the white house. Just out of curiosity, after 140 years of perfect examples, why do you think Ron Paul has a chance at the White House? Why are the powers-that-be going to relinquish control now? Does anyone really believe that this one-man-one-vote thing is really able to herald in the will of the people? The deck is purposely stacked against the states regaining their rights under the 10th Amendment and, in turn, the people regaining their freedom. The power to bring about REAL change will not come from one man in Washington, DC but more likely one man in a state capitol (if one man can really change much) Cornfedreb
