What would it take, knowing how laxed people are today, and how so many just seem to care less. But what do yall think it would take to start the process of a free south?
I figured this would make for a good discussion ;D

First: Getting Southerners and Southerner mined Northerners heads out of the sand, we can work for a better Southern Nation.
I believe it can be done by the Vote and not by the bullet.
Southerners (Black and White) need to start knowing their heritage.

I think our complacency as a people has become to widespread and too deep for us to shake it off collectively with anything resembling ease. It is my opinion that it would take something very traumatic and something that shook us to our core as a people to see any significant change. Something along the shock factor of 9-11, but something that specifically targeted the South and or Southern people. I am not sure what that would be, but at this point, as things stand, I do not see the sheep that people have become shaking off their bonds easily.

i like something like www.confederatestatesofamerica.org has tried to do. From what i gather, and please correct me if i am wrong... but it looks like they have put together a Provisional Gov, and are filling the positions there of. But it don't look like they are getting the overwhelming support they need. And it appears it is moving along at a snails pace. But again correct me if I am wrong. That is just my first impression. But the idea, in general seems good.

If the State of Florida in 2008 had a spot to vote for leaving the Union or staying with the Union....I'd vote to leave and leave now! No one cn go after me for voting like I want either. Luckie

I have been watching the Confederate States of America site for awhile and I agree Michael they are not gathering much support or moving at anything resembling a quick pace. I can only hazard a guess that it will not be taken seriously by most and openly ridiculed by others.
If it is legite and they do intend to gather support and resources to leave the Union I will pledge my full support. I only hope it's officials don't become as corrupt or self serving as those of the federal empire in Washington.
