Anyone and everybody is welcome to this FTX. This FTX will be held in Lee County, Florida. We only ask that you are a USC law bidding citizen. No nut cases.

Ironclad,
USC? Does that stand for United States Code, United States Citizen or something else that I'm not familiar with? Pardon my ignorance.

We only ask that you are a USC law bidding citizen. Just for the sake of generating conversation, let's say the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution was legally repealed with another Amendment. Sort of like the 18th Amendment initiating prohibition was repealed with the 21st Amendment. If such were the case would you continue to be "law abiding"? Is law abiding more important that doing what is right? Is obeying the laws of an unlawful tyrant a prerequisite to being socially acceptable? Let's go a little further. The 2nd Amendment uses the term "Shall not be infringed". We all know the 2nd Amendment has been heavily infringed upon with such laws as the National Firearms Act of 1934, National Firearms Act of 1938, Gun Control Act of 1968, Brady, the (for now) sunsetted Assault Weapons Ban and other more minor infringements at the federal and state level. Does the "obeying" of these unlawful infringements make one a "law abiding" person or just a subserviant dullard? I'd just like ya'lls feedback on the subject. Like I said, just some conversation generating questions to help out a fantastic old forum that needs some revival. CornFedReb

Hmm, tough one for me. Meaning job wise here.
If the 2nd. amendment was repealed, would I be a law abiding and give up all my rifles and pistols?
I'd have to say, I'd give up my job in the military and go under ground. To enforce the laws, you'll have to get the Military involved to go door to door and pick all the arms in america. I can not bring myself to take away one arms from any citizen here in america.
I'd be giving up a lot, but it would be worth it!

I can not bring myself to take away one arms from any citizen here in america. I'm not sure they would have to go door to door with the military. Look at Australia and England as examples of English-speaking Western nations who enacted nearly total gun control. They just changed the laws and enforced them as violators were found. Much like drug laws and other laws on the books here in America. If the Beast system were to crack down with the military it would be a simple matter for the sheep to identify an assault on their liberties. You might even get some of them to use their precious gun collections as they were intended by the 2nd Amendment. But the Beast doesn't work that way. They forge our chains one link at a time. Maybe we squaked a little in 1934 at the National Firearms Act. But eventually everyone settled down and became "law abiding". And so it continued through 1938, 1968 and so on. We wanted to remain "law-abiding" because we believed the oppression and infringements were "tolerable". We waved aside these infringements because we believed we could still have our toys if only we jumped through a few more hoops to get them. Nowadays those who balk at the intolerable infringements are considered "outlaws", "criminals", "felons" and are to be shunned as potential trouble makers who can not be associated with for fear of bringing down the wrath of the FBI, ATF, ect. I bring this up because we have reached a stage in our history (some will say the stage started in 1865) where to be "law abiding" means that we must submit to tyranny. We must behave as cowards and traitors to the principles of our founding fathers. No offense to anyone here or elsewhere, it's just that when I hear our people use the term "law abiding" it makes me cringe. CornFedReb

I hear ya' my friend.
Just like the americans who were born during slavery, we were born into this type of government and most people don't know the real truth.
I feel this country has gone to hell and it's too late to fix it.
